The region of Brisbane East, located in the state of Queensland, Australia, has a rich and fascinating history dating back thousands of years. It is said that the indigenous Turrbal people, who were known for their fishing and hunting skills, had inhabited the area for over 40,000 years before Europeans arrived in the late 1700s.

The area of Brisbane East is situated on the eastern side of the Brisbane River, and it incorporates suburbs such as Bulimba, Morningside, Cannon Hill, Carindale, and Wynnum, among others.
